We speak with love, humor and a realist edge to a maturing audience of the gay and queer community, sourcing learned lessons of important life transitions and experiences taking place in a variety of focused interests that matter specifically to us.
These include topics of health and spirituality, travel and leisure, social action, current events, sex and social practices. We also enjoy highlighting relevant new products that we love.
Our mission is born to serve our community who’s eldest have had to fight for their very survival through the AIDS crisis, protest and push for social change, fight for the the rights to marry and enjoy basic equities in the the workplace and society at large.
We share our growing library collective of life experience and stories to serve a growing generation of gay and queer people coming up from behind. These upcoming generations have fewer role models and elders to look to as a result of the many who perished during the AIDS epidemic.
For those of us who survived to tell the tale, our platform exists to highlight stories and individuals who can share their wisdom and serve as role models to our next generations on how to practice the art of aging gracefully, live vibrant and joyful lives with all it’s inherent benefits.
Just as important we aim to inform and to instill in our current and future generations the importance of vigilance in our modern age. What we have today in the way of increasing social acceptance, basic rights and equities cannot be taken for granted. The fight is not over and likely never will be.
We must continue to educate and motivate our community to keep up the vigilance and action movements to keep the rights those before have literally won with their blood, sweat and tears.
Our formats include written word, video and audio presentations, and a range social media engagement. We invite guest contributions, story ideas and those who have their own experiences to share to contact us. Additionally we encourage collaborations with brands and institutions who share our values.
